ALL ABOUT BUFFALO RISING SLOT
Buffalo Rising is the 4th slot in Blueprint’s Megaways™ series, due for release in October 2018 and following on from the excellent Genie Jackpots, Irish Riches and Diamond Mine versions of the game.

Buffalo Rising Game Set Up
As the name implies, this is a game set on the North American prairies, with a touch of Buffalo Blitz about it. Like most Megaways™ classics Buffalo Rising comes with 6 reels, with 2 to 7 rows on the outside and 2 to 6 rows on the middle four reels. This creates up to 117,649 ways to win when the maximum number of rows are showing.
This is a cascading wins game where winning symbols are removed to be replaced by new ones after each winning spin. Other features of course are the free spins with multipliers and mystery symbols.
Buffalo Rising can be played from 20p to £100 per spin, is highly volatile and comes with a 96.43% RTP.
Buffalo Rising Megaways™ Game Symbols
The low value symbols in this game are the cards, 9 through to Ace. The high value premium symbols are the prairie animals, the moose, the wolf, the grizzly bear, the highest paying Buffalo at 50x for six in a row.
Look out as well for the Prairie sunset – this is the Mystery Symbol. If a few land at once on the reels they will all reveal matching symbols that may create a new win consideration.
The Pink Diamond is the scatter, required to trigger the all-important free spins round.

Free Spins, Multipliers and Extra Spins
To set off the free spins round you will need four pink diamonds. This will give you 15 free games that come with an increasing multiplier with each play. Every extra scatter above 4 gets you an additional 5 free spins, up to a maximum of 35 plays.
During the bonus round, watch out for pink diamonds appearing in the reel set above the main reels. 3 scatters here gets you 5 additional spins, and 4 gets you 10 additional spins.
The multiplier applied to your wins will increase by 1x with each spin, up to an unlimited value, creating the opportunity for MASSIVE, 10,000x + payouts, though of course these are a very rare occurrence.
Free Spins Feature Select
Look out as well for the Feature Select at the start of the bonus round. You can choose 15 free spins starting with a 1x multiplier, 10 free spins starting with a 5x multiplier, or 5 free spins starting with a 10x multiplier.
Buffalo Bet Feature
The increasing multiplier is normally just a feature of the bonus round in Megaways™. However, in Buffalo Rising you can choose to pay 5x your stake to activate it in the base game. Now, your multiplier will increase by 1x with each consecutive cascading win.

The multiplier value will also be carried over into the bonus round if you trigger the free spins whilst in a cascading win sequence!
THE SLOT BUZZ VERDICT
There’s a lot to like about Buffalo Rising, though in truth this is simply a re-skin of previous titles in the series. The game engine will feel very familiar to BTG fans or anyone who has enjoyed a few spins on Blueprint’s other Megaways™ games. What we like though is the addition of opting-in (at a cost) to play with the increasing multiplier in the base game, and the choice of free spins vs. multiplier value when the bonus round triggers. These additional features add an element of intrigue to the game and definitely make it worthy of a few spins.
