A Guide To Slingo Sites

The Bear Group and River iGaming

After purchasing the Slingo brand in 2015 Gaming Realms set about producing multiple variants of the game which they made available through their flagship mobile casino, Slingo.com, and a network of white label sites which includes Spin Genie, Pocket Fruity, and several other TV-show branded sites including Love Island Games and X-Factor Games. Collectively these sites are part of the Bear Group (a subsidiary of Gaming Realms). In 2019 Gaming Realms made the decision to re-focus their business on game development and sold the Bear Group (and its assets) to Malta-based River iGaming. The Bear Group sites continue to operate in much the same way under their new ownership, with a similar set of promotions, and licensing from the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Dragonfish and Other Slingo Licensees

With their new stated focus on game development and continued custodianship of the Slingo format, Gaming Realms are still producing Slingo-style games and licensing these to casino operators in the UK and globally. You can now find Slingo games at many different bingo and casino sites outside the Bear Group. Recent licensees include Dragonfish (888 ladies, Wink Bingo), Ladbrokes Coral (Gala Bingo, Gala Spins, Ladbrokes, Coral), Golden Nugget (New Jersey Casino), Kindred Games (32Red, Unibet, Bingo.com and Maria Casino). Many more are expected to follow.

The Slingo Games Catalogue

The original Slingo game was developed by two US-based entrepreneurs called Dave Lyons and Sal Falciglia in the mid 1990s. The game was so successful that the brand was eventually sold to Real Networks in 2013 for $15.6 million. The format became a multiplayer social-gaming phenomenon in the states before being brought to the UK by Gaming Realms in 2015. Since then upwards of 10 different versions of Slingo have been created and can be played at the sites listed on this page.

Here is our pick of the best.

1. Slingo Riches

Slingo Riches is the first version of Slingo to take real-money bets from players. It was launched in 2015 and offers a top jackpot prize of £20,000. The game is played out on a 5×5 grid with numbers on it like a bingo card. Beneath the grid is a 1 row slot reel. Players get 20 spins of the reel per game, and after each spin the reel reveals a set of 5 numbers and symbols. Numbers in the grid that match those on the reels are crossed off.

The objective is to cross off complete lines of numbers horizontally, vertically and diagonally (called a Slingo). Other important symbols are Jokers and Super Jokers (which are wild cards crossing off any number on the grid), Devils (which cut the game score in half), and Angels (which cancel out devils). There are also coin symbols which release instant cash prizes.

If you haven’t played Slingo before then this is a great place to start.

2. Slingo Rainbow Riches

One of the most iconic slots brands of all time gets the Slingo treatment. In this version, the famous feaures from Rainbow Riches, including Road to Riches, Cash Crops and Magic Toadstools. To trigger any of the bonuses then you must hit 5 Slingos with the 10 spins from your original game.

So, 6 Slingos will get you into the Cash Crop field where you taking a pick from 50 coins will reveal multipliers and cash prizes. 7 or 8 Slingos gets you the chance to pick from Toadstools to reveal multiplier prizes. 9 Slingos gets you onto the famous Road ot Riches where prizes of up to 500x are available along the trail. 10 Slingos gets you onto an enhanced Road to Riches with up to 1,000x to be won.

3. Monopoly Slingo

Another iconic brand to match up with Slingo is Monopoly. Here the familiar 5×5 grid consists of Property Cards instead of numbers. The objective is to mark off properties in the same set (a Slingo). When you do you win a cash prize of a multiplier. Monopoly Slingo also allows the player to choose from one of four different volatility settings.

4. Deal or No Deal Slingo

Slingo and a great British TV gameshow combine in this version which boasts a jackpot of £100,000. The grid this time is made up of numbered red boxes, each containing prizes. The spin of the reels reveals numbers and when they match those on the boxes, the corresponding boxes are removed. When all 5 in a line are removed, you have completed a Slingo and you move up the multiplier table to the left of the screen.

The game continues until you unlock a Bankers offer which is the value of your win. It’s possible to land up to a 20x multiplier to go with your prize.

 5. Slingo Extreme

This is a super-fast version of the Slingo game, with a jackpot of up to £50,000 cash available on each play.
