ABOUT IVAN AND THE IMMORTAL KING SLOT

It’s a Russian folktale about the unending conflict between hero Ivan Tsarevich and wicked immortal monarch Koschei. Ivan appears to be a popular character in Russian folklore, valiant and endowed with magical powers, battling wicked people, animals, and objects.
You play Ivan, and your goal is to vanquish the wicked monarch and take his possessions. To do so, you’ll need to collect free spins and progressive multipliers in the bonus round. There are huge rewards up for grabs, but they will be hard to get.

The Immortal King Gameplay
As expected from Quickspin, the design work is superb. The slot is amazing. The 5×3 reel set has 20 fixed paylines. To the left are a series of multipliers from 1x to 20x, each with a symbol. In the bonus round, collecting progressive scatters will keep you advancing up the multiplier ladder, increasing your winnings.
Symbols in Ivan and the Immortal
The low value icons in this slot are colored jewels. In addition to the heroes, there are anti-heroes. Ivan pays 100x for five on a payline.

Watch carefully for the wild, which replaces all but the scatter and pays out like Ivan.
Yaga Surprise
The plot needs one more character — Baba Yaga. Known for her ugliness, she plays a beneficent role in this story. When she arrives on her broomstick, 4 random hidden symbols will be placed to the reels.
When this happens, the symbols become either bonus scatters in the basic game, helping to trigger free spins, or progressive scatters in the free spins round, helping to increase the multiplier.
Bonus Spins
A challenging bonus round is required to unlock any real riches in this game. But, like other high variance slots, here is where the money is. This requires three or more scatters and operates as follows:
- 3 Scatters – 10 free spins with 1x multiplier (the chest)
- 4 Scatters – 14 free spins with 2x multiplier (the hare)
- 20+ free spins + 3x multiplier for 5 Scatters (the duck)
The tradition goes that Koschei’s soul is buried within a needle, an egg, a duck, a hare, and a chest (of course!). From the chest 1x to the needle, one of them represents each multiplier level (10x). There is also a dead king at the top, which awards a 20x multiplier when defeated!
Each level requires 3 progressive scatters to advance. With each level, you get bigger multipliers and 4 extra spins. Up to 20x and 30 spins at dead king.
The bonus round also features Baba Yaga, who drops additional symbols on the reels!
