There are two phases to the free spins round.
To get 12 free spins, you must first land three scatters (golden donuts), or four scatters to get 20 free spins.
The screen then transitions to the BONUS COUNTDOWN grid, which is placed against a dark desert backdrop. In this phase of the game, there are only Gold Donuts or vacant places on the grid. Each symbol space rotates independently of the others in this case.
