MORE ABOUT THE FALCON HUNTRESS SLOT
Thunderkick have taken their inspiration from the stunning Eagle Huntress documentary from 2016 in which a young Kazakh girl becomes an Eagle Hunter. The film is set in amazing Mongolian landscapes, and is well worth a watch! But if you don’t have time, you can always check out this beautiful slot title instead.
The game is graphically simpler than other Thunderkick releases from last year, and in terms of features it is also more straight forward. In the base game you are looking for Expanding Wins – random events where a winning symbol will expand to fill the whole reel – and scatters that will trigger the bonus round with up to 20 free spins up for grabs.
We were spoilt in 2017 for crazy Thunderkick titles like Not Enough Kittens and Pink Elephants. This one is a little more sober than those weird and wonderful releases, but it might just appeal to high rollers looking for another volatile slot with potential for big wins. The top prize is a staggering 10,052x so it can pay out big if you get on a lucky run.
Like all Thunderkick games, it’s available to spin from 10p to £100 per go, and you can try for fun, or for real, on desktop, mobile or tablet, at any of the Thunderkick Casinos. Try it now, or read on for our full game review.

GAME SET-UP AND PAYTABLE
The reels in The Falcon Huntress are set up in a temple, against a backdrop of Mongolian mountains at night. The symbols on the reels are as follows: the lower value ones are the playing card symbols from 9 through to Ace, whilst the higher paying ones are a feather, a falcon egg, an Ayak baus (decoration applied to the head of the falcon) and the huntress herself. She is the most valuable symbol and pays out at 500x stake for five in a payline.
The Wild symbol is a falcon and it substitutes for all others in the game. It also doubles up as the scatter and will trigger the Free Spins round, and re-trigger free spins in the bonus round. The Wild can also land you 200x for 5 in a payline.
As we have already said, this is not a complicated game. The key feature in the base game is Expanding Wins which can occur at any time after a win. In this feature, all winning symbols in the win line will expand to fill the entire reel. Of course, if you have a high value symbol, like the huntress herself, this can bring on some pretty impressive wins. And if you are looking at 5 of her in a row, then the entirety of the reels will turn into Huntress symbols and set off your big 10,052x win.
NOTE – the wild symbols will not expand in this way.
The Bonus Round is triggered by three or more scatters (the wild, remember) and it credits you 10 free spins. During your free spins, 3 more scatters will trigger 10 more spins.
THE SLOT BUZZ VERDICT
And that’s it for The Falcon Huntress. It’s already getting some rave reviews from Thunderkick fans. A simple game with nice graphics and the promise of some massive potential wins. But of course, like all these high volatility games, it comes with the caveat that you have to work hard at it if you want to win, because it doesn’t give up its riches easily. Watch out, because it can be frustrating, though a lot of fun when it comes good.
