Medallion Megaways™ Themes, Gameplay, Symbols and PayTables
Medallion is set in what looks like a pimped-up Bedouin tent in the Saharan desert, with little orb-lights and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The reel are six wide, and up to six deep, creating a possible 46,656 ways to win. The low value symbols are different colored gems, and the premium ones are gems with moon, stars and triangles. There is also a high value snake symbol worth 30x for six on a payline, and a crystal wild that can expand to fill a full reel when a special amulet feature is triggered.
Medallion Megaways™ Features
Cascading Wins and Multipliers
Like most Megaways™ slots Medallion uses a Cascading Wins mechanic to drive the gameplay in the base round. After each win, winning symbols are removed from the reels and replaced with new ones. If new wins are created, the process repeats. In this instance win multipliers are applied after every cascade, starting at 1x and increasing by 1x with each consecutive win. When the sequence ends, the multiplier is re-set to 1x.
Medallion Features
The game gets its name from special Medallion symbols that land on the reels and trigger amulet Wild and Respin features represented below the reels. When a gold medallion lands the corresponding feature starts. When a silver medallion lands, then the feature ends.
Expanding Wilds – When the Wild amulet (left side) is activated, then every Crystal Wild to land on the reels is fully expanded, and comes with a multiplier of between 2x and 6x.
Void Respin – The void re-spin symbol lands any time the Void Respin amulet has been triggered. Anywhere between 2 and 10 symbols are removed from the reels and replaced with new ones. Wilds and symbols that are part of a win cannot be removed.
Free Spins – Look out for the Golden Eye Medallion. This triggers 10 free spins with all the base game features active, including Void Re-Spins and Expanding Wilds. The progressive multiplier in this instance does not re-set after each cascading win sequence, but just increases with no limit.
