GAME SET-UP AND PAYTABLE

The backdrop for Frog Grog is what looks like a witch’s or wizard’s laboratory. The reels are set up 5×3 on a row of shelves. Around the side are candles, spell books, a cauldron, bottles of potions, keys, birdcages, and other paraphernalia. To the left of the reels is the multiplier indicator, in pink neon.

The slick artwork here is complemented by smooth animations on mobile and desktop versions. The symbols themselves are a range of potion bottles, specimen jars and other items. There are six in total, with the blue potion the lowest paying at 2x for five in a row. The blue butterfly in a jar is the highest paying at 10x for five in a row.

Look out as well for the Wild frog symbol which substitutes for all others. When it lands it sticks around for the rest of the game round and can help deliver some big wins.

GAME FEATURES

It’s fun just to sit back and watch any Thunderkick game, and it gets even better when you trigger any of these features:

Dropping Reels – This is the standard base game feature whereby any winning spin is followed by a re-spin. Firstly though, all winning symbols drop off the reels and are replaced with new ones and the multiplier indicator to the left of the screen increases one place. Consecutive wins push the multiplier up as high as 7x.

Wild Burping Frog – Not something you see that often! But this is the world of Thunderkick so here we go. If the Wild frog symbol becomes part of a winning line then the Frog Burp feature comes up. All other symbols on the same frog row and reel are removed and the frog turns blue. He remains in that position for the rest of the game round. This has potential to push some nice wins your way.

Mystery Game Feature – This one turns up randomly in the game when you get a dry spin. It gives you a better chance of landing some bigger wins by removing lower value symbols from the reels. All that remains is the Wild Frog and the two highest paying symbols of the Butterfly and Flower. For consecutive wins you are also eligible for the multiplier at this point, so again there is potential to strike some nice payouts here.
