Gameplay and Features
Cascading Reels Feature
Cascading wins is a very familiar mechanic these days, usually used in Megawaysâ„¢ slots. Land matching symbols on at least three successive reels, beginning from the leftmost reel, and you will trigger cascading reels. All winning symbols will be zapped off the grid and new ones will enter to fill the blank positions and, hopefully, create successive winning combinations. This process continues until no more wins are possible.
Power Coil Feature
The seventh reel that runs horizontally above reels 2 to 4 is there to activate the Power Coil feature. Once again, it creates a similar set up to Megawaysâ„¢ games, as importantly, wilds can only appear on the horizontal reel.
By landing successive winning cascades, you will also increase the Power Coil Multiplier, which appears above the corresponding reel. Each reel comes with multipliers up to 5x, and they can combine when more than one is active, which is how it is possible to create a win multiplier of 625x.

Our Verdict
You don’t need to have much more than a passing interest in Megaways™ slots to notice that Play n Go have taken a lot of their inspiration here from Big Time Gaming’s now ubiquitous expanding reels game engine. From the Cascading Wins, through to the horizontal spinning reel with wilds and the progressive multipliers that don’t re-set in the bonus round, the mechanics are close to identical (just without expanding reels!). But this is no bad thing, as most of us love Megaways™ and despite the similarities, Play n Go have at least brought their own twist to the tale here as their electric game has stunning visuals, an original theme and a compelling payout potential that will get the blood pumping for anyone who loves high variance slots action.
