Lady Luck Games has a reputation for developing truly unique slots that stand out from the norm, what inspired you to go back to basics with Cherry Supreme, a classic-style slot?
As you’ve mentioned, our last three releases have been very unconventional and weren’t exactly what you’d expect from a typical online slot game! Mr Alchemister featured rotating pipes as opposed to reels, Rooftop Fight only had two symbols and Madame Clues only had one!
It’s fair to suggest that we enjoy experimenting with slots here at Lady Luck Games. We’re always looking to innovative, and come up with the next big thing that’ll really shake up the industry.
That said, the time felt right to go back to our roots and release a game that featured elements of what you might consider a classic online slot. There are a lot of players with a lot of different interests within the world of iGaming, and it’s down to us to satisfy their needs.
Whilst it may seem strange that we’ve released a game without all of the quirks players are perhaps used to, that doesn’t mean Cherry Supreme is any less exciting, it really does boast plenty of gripping features for players to get stuck into!
Can you tell us a little bit about these bonus features, what is it we should be looking out for when we start spinning the reels?
Cherry Supreme is a classic 5-reel, 10 payline game that looks and feels like an old-school online slot. However, being Lady Luck Games, we couldn’t help but put our own special spin on things by including a whole host of bonus features fit for the future.
Firstly, we have the Supreme Wilds feature. This bonus sees between 2 and 10 wild symbols randomly added to the reels. To make this stand out even more we made it so that players can receive instant cash wins from any of these wild symbols, significantly boosting their bankroll.
We didn’t stop there! We also added an excellent free spin feature to Cherry Supreme that can see players trigger 7, 10 or 15 free spins when they land 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols respectively. These free spins can be triggered at any time during the bonus, which should make for some big wins!
There’s also a gamble feature, which is what we consider to be the cherry on top!
How important was it to include all of the classic slot machine elements in Cherry Supreme, such as fruit symbols, wilds and free spins?
Once we started talking about what we wanted Cherry Supreme to look and feel like, our talented development team set out to make it happen. We wanted this slot to be a nod to simpler times, and during those times everything was about fruit symbols, wilds and of course free spins!
It was vital that the game had that nostalgic feel about it, and I think we’ve got a great game ready to hit casinos that has strong-theming and all of the hallmarks of a classic online slot.
We loved the 80s aesthetic! Is it essential for a new slot to have strong theming that instantly catches the player’s eye?
Absolutely! If you look at our extensive portfolio of games, you’ll quickly see that all of them have very strong theming, we’re proud of our ability to continuously create memorable, good-looking slots, it’s in our DNA. The bright vibrant neon lights and catchy synth music instantly transports players to the 1980s, and we hope that players begin to associate that golden era of music and design with this slot and vice versa.
Without a strong theme and good looking graphics you might as well give up before you’ve even started, we’re in a day and age now where players demand nothing but the best.
Was Supreme Cherry developed to cater for a different audience to your previous games such as Madame Clues, Mr Alchemister and Rooftop Fight?
Yes, whilst we thoroughly enjoy creating unique games that stand out from everything else on the market, we’re also well aware that we need to cater for every player out there. Not everyone enjoys wildly creative games that are different to anything they’ve ever seen or played before.
We may have carved out a unique identity for ourselves over the last twelve months, but we’re all incredibly mindful that we don’t isolate certain segments of our player base. Ultimately, that’s why we decided to create Cherry Supreme, as it appeals to those who like something simple.
What’s next for Lady Luck Games once Cherry Supreme is released?
We’re keeping our cards close to our chest right now, but if you’ve been following the news in the last few months you’ll have read that we signed a deal with King Features to develop branded slots.
We’re not quite ready to announce what these games will be just yet, but you have to trust us when we say that players will like what we’ve got planned!
