TNT TUMBLE SLOT IN DETAIL
Relax Gaming, based in Malta, has been in the slot game business since 2010, initially working with companies like Push Gaming and Quickspin to provide their games through their Silver Bullet platform, and then producing their own products, such as the Megaways™ slots Temple Tumble and Machina. TNT Tumble is their third tumble, or cascading winnings slot, and it’s undoubtedly their greatest. It has drilling wilds that appear in stacks, as well as multiplier possibilities that increase the win possibility throughout the free spins round. TNT Tumble is an extension of Temple Tumble, taking some of the greatest aspects from that game, such as the ability to choose between three degrees of volatility in the bonus round, and combining them with some fresh and innovative concepts to create a top-notch and totally entertaining slot.
SETTING UP THE GAME, SYMBOLS, AND GRAPHICS
The reel set, which is built within a stone and iron mine shaft, is located in a stunning Alpine scene with green meadows, snow-capped mountains, clear skies, and spring flowers as the backdrop. It’s a fairly nice setup, and it’s not dissimilar to another well-known slot, Bonanza. TNT Tumble, on the other hand, lacks the insane volatility and increasing reels of BTG’s iconic Megaways™ game, and it’s a bit easier on the pocketbook, albeit it’s still a difficult game to master.
This is a grid slot with five reels and seven rows. Only the first four rows are made up of symbols to begin with. The lowest three panels are made of stone. When the game starts, symbols fall from the top and create clusters of three or more similar icons, triggering a victory. The winning symbols, as well as any nearby tiles from the bottom three rows, are removed after each victory, and new ones are placed in their place. This procedure is repeated until there are no more clusters to create.
A silver nugget and a gold nugget are the game’s low-value icons. Gemstones — blue, green, orange, and red – are more valuable symbols. The most precious gemstone is red, which pays out 15 times for seven in a cluster. The natural world is also extremely precious. It’s called a Wild Drill, and it smashes through the stone tiles in the rows underneath it when it’s part of a victory cluster. Wilds pay out 50x when they form a cluster of 7, and they drop off as they drill through to the bottom of the grid.
Finally, keep an eye out for the Dynamite stone symbol, which explodes throughout the base and bonus games, removing ALL stone tiles in its row.
THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION
TNT Tumble has a 96.11 percent RTP and is a medium to high volatility slot. This is decent, and the game gives you the option of selecting how volatile you want your bonus spins to be. The highest payoff is a tempting 12,278x, but you’ll need to be fortunate with extra spins and multipliers in the free spins round, as we’ll explain. Relax’s newest slot starts at 10c per spin, and we recommend playing at a low bet for most players because you’ll need to stretch your wallet to get a nice session out of this one.
FEATURES AND GAMEPLAY
Multipliers and Free Spins
TNT Tumble, like any decent high (ish) volatility slots, really heats up in the bonus round. Because it’s all about consecutive tumblers, multipliers, and additional spins, there are some amazing possibilities to unleash some spectacular win sequences. When all three rows of stone blocks are eliminated from one spin and tumble sequence in the main game, the free spins round is triggered. This activates six free spins with three possible possibilities, each with a different volatility rating:
Extra Spins (medium volatility) – more stone blocks are added to the grid, each exposing one, two, three, five, or ten additional spins.
Extra stone blocks are added to the grid, and extra spins or multipliers are revealed (high volatility).
Multipliers (very high variation) – additional stone blocks with 1x, 2x, or 3x multipliers are added to the grid.
When the stone blocks are shattered as part of a win cluster, their multipliers and bonus spins are revealed. This makes for exciting gaming, especially when blasting away at the three stone rows at the bottom of the field also triggers two extra spins each time. In the bonus round, the three rows are not re-set after each spin, but remain the same.
OUR OPINION
This game, like all the finest slots, is a lot of fun. When the action picks up and many tumbles with Drill Wilds are involved, it feels like the race for the big rewards is on. The bonus round’s hands-free gameplay has the potential to be fantastic – all you have to do is sit back and watch as your multipliers and free spins add up. That’s where you may be on the verge of a huge win, so be patient and, as always, play responsibly.
