Gameplay, Symbols, and Pay Tables
Slot games are frequently referred to as “epic.” Perhaps a little too frequently. But I don’t believe it’s an exaggeration to call Gods of Olympus an epic game. It’s evident that significant money was spent on this slot, from the large, dramatic soundtrack to the magnificent background and animations. The cards 9 through Ace represent the low value symbols on the reels, while the four gods – Zeus (God of Olympus), Aries (God of War), Athena (Goddess of Wisdom), and Poseidon (God of the Sea) – represent the premium symbols (God of the Sea). Zeus offers the greatest rewards, with a 25x multiplier for six on a payline.
Keep an eye out for the Temple Wild symbol, which only appears in the 4×1 reel above the main reel.
This is not a complete 117,649 ways to win Megaways™ game, but rather a six-reel, five-row game with a maximum of 15,625 ways to win. And we’re all aware with the Cascading Wins feature that underlies most Megaways™ slots: winning symbols are eliminated and replaced with new ones after each winning spin. Megaways Features
Blueprint may have tightened up the paylines and cut the top-paying symbol’s win value from 50x to 25x, but they’ve made up for it by stuffing Gods of Olympus with a robust collection of features. There are no less than FIVE of them in the standard game, as follows:
Up to TEN wild multipliers are added to the reels in Wild Thunder.
- Colossal Thunder– Throughout the game, up to SIX reels are picked to display the same symbol.
- Mystery Thunder– To generate a GUARANTEED win, mystery symbols are put across all reels.
- Extra scatters are added to assist trigger the free spins round in Bonus Thunder.
- Winning symbols stick for a re-spin in Respin Thunder. This continues until there are no more victories.
While the main game features will keep you occupied while you hunt for the bonus round, the real excitement begins when you land scatters to activate the free spins round. To get 10, 12, 15 or 20 spins, you’ll need three, four, five, or six symbols to land at the same time. There are four different free spins features to pick from:
Wild Storm Free Spins – On reels 1 and 6, look for Thunderbolt icons that appear over the regular symbols. Any occurrence of that symbol on the middle reels goes wild, regardless of whatever symbol they fall on. You’ll also get two more spins if you land three more scatters.
Free Spins on Rise of Olympus – On the middle reels, look for wilds. Your multiplier rises by 1x when they land. You’ll get two more free spins for every five wilds you capture.
Colossal Free Spins — Keep an eye out for the 2-high wandering wild, which may appear anywhere on the reels and transform any symbol into a wild. Extra scatters can also boost the size of the wild, give you more free spins, and give you a 625x multiplier.
Look for 2x and 3x wild multipliers in the Almighty Wild Free Spins. Collecting scatters will once again raise the size of your multipliers to 625x, as well as give you extra free spins.
