Gaelic Gold is a cartoon-style slot set in the Irish countryside, complete with a lake and foggy, wet hills in the background. The reel set is only 3×3 and features Irish clovers around the edges. The production is of a decent quality, and the design is similar to that of rival Thunderkick’s games.
The cards Jack through Ace are low-value symbols on the reels. The premium symbols — the fortunate leprechaun shoes, his hat, pints of guiness (supposedly), lucky horsehoes, and, of course, lucky clovers – are shown down the left side of the reel set. At first glance, Gaelic Gold appears to be a simple 3×3 Irish slot, one that most of us wouldn’t spend much time with. However, a closer examination reveals that there is much more to this game than meets the eye. It has a nice design and offers easy gameplay in the regular game, but once you enter the bonus round, it has a lot of potential. It also does it using a medium variance gaming engine, which means it’s not designed just for high-risk gamblers. Gaelic Gold will appeal to both casual gamers and those looking for a shot at the big time, which is why it received widespread notice in 2020.
